Leggo da L’Espresso che in Germania 45 ereditieri chiedono di pagare imposte più alte. Per questo hanno fondato un’organizzazione, cui si accede a partire dai 500 mila euro di reddito, che promuove una tassa patrimoniale del 5%. In questo modo si arriverebbe a un introito di 50 miliardi all’anno. Altri due elementi mi hanno colpita: 1) questi 50 miliardi sarebbero secondo i promotori da destinare a progetti specifici nei settori della cultura, ecologia e sanità; 2) la ragione per cui questi milionari non creano una Fondazione, ma chiedono di pagare più tasse: “ Noi – spiegano – vogliamo pagare le tasse come ogni moderno cittadino. They’ve constituted an organisation, for those who have personal fortunes of more than € 500 thousand, to call for the resumption of a 5% wealth tax. In this way they could provide the State with € 50 billion a year.
